New RoIP Modules for connecting your Two-Way Radios using the Internet. We have several choices for getting your Communication System working using a RoIP Radio Internet connection. You Can uses a new Commercial Router type Product that VoiceInterop offers that does not require a dedicated Computer to get your Radio System up and working and uses Commercial Software they provide. Option two is use the RoIP B2 if you have a Router with E&M Signaling or the RoIP-B3 modules on this site using a version of EQSO Software that I have to offer for your use that is Free. I have been working with VoiceInterop to develop new simple Radio to Internet Interface Products (RoIP) that works great . You must connect the RoIP-B3 Unit to a Computer to make it work. The RoIP-B3 connects your Radio Base Station, Mobile, or Portable Radio to a Computer that connects to the Internet using your Computer. The Unit is easy to set up with your radios and work great using 600 ohm Line interface transformers to isolate the Computer audio circuits from the Radios audio circuits. Solid state Relays are used to operate the PTT and COS/COR circuits of the radio to keep the radio ground system from the Computer ground system. A RJ45 connector Provides all the needed connections to your Radio. I designed the RoIP Products to work with Motorola Base Station, Portable and Mobile 2-way Radios but will work with any Two-Way Radio. There is a item to talk about and that is if you are using Microsoft Windows XP operation System I have found that you need a to use a USB to RS232 serial converter cable to work with our products. I do have the Converter cables in stock and they cost $40.00 or you can get one at your local computer store. I am designing a new product that will have the USB interface built in and I will add in a USB sound card feature also. But for now I recommend you use the converter cable set to Com3 or Com4 to provide the Serial interface need for keying the radio.
